We paid forty hryvnias for two people to attend (preschoolers are free, and students get discounts). They asked if they could listen to the tour. It turned out that the tour cost 300 hryvnias, and there weren't many people, so the tour group didn't have at least ten people, which we really regretted. Be sure to buy a map of the park at the entrance, which shows all the built architectural objects (there are 98 of them!). It costs only five hryvnias, but walking with a card is much more interesting. Watch Mamaeva Sloboda in the cinema.
A photo permit also costs five hryvnias if you have a regular soap dish with you, and two hundred hryvnias if you have a professional camera with you. And there really is something to take pictures of (see Mamayeva Sloboda, photo). Well, maybe not the whole village of Mamaeva Sloboda, but a small Mamaeva Sloboda, along which you can walk with pleasure, is really built there. Everything is built with historical accuracy. By the way, we met two film crews in the park who were shooting on location for historical films. So, among other things, we watched the filming process.
Advantages and disadvantages.
Two and a half hours of walking flew by completely unnoticed. We walked from cottage to cottage, admired the scenery, fed the fish in the ponds with bread (there are just clouds of them), went to the magnificent wooden Cossack Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, listened to the kobzar, bought souvenirs at a small market. In general, I had pleasant and joyful impressions. Of the disadvantages that caught our eye, we note the following:
1. Most of the buildings are enclosed by huge modern barn locks, which look out of place on these old-world houses, to put it mildly.
2. If the doors are open, it turns out that inside most houses there is junk, unnecessary things or just things that are in storage. In one, for example, we found a Christmas tree, toys and a case of champagne. Apparently, preparations for the new year are in full swing. What would we like? Well, of course, illustrations of Ukrainian everyday life, some sheaves, chests, household tools. We found this in a single place.
3. It would be nice to hang more detailed and interesting information about customs, interesting facts, etc. next to each architectural object. It would be really useful educational work. Otherwise, without a guide, we saw a lot of things, but we learned practically nothing.
4. There are very few benches, in fact they are only at the entrance. chicken road
